Divergent is one of my all time favorite books, I read it for the first time in fourth grade. It is the first book in a series of four. If you are interested there is also a movie based on this book.
16 year old Tris lives in a city where they live in factions, ERUDITE The intelligent, AMITY The peaceful, ABNEGATION The selfless, CANDOR the truthful, and DAUNTLESS the brave. She has been living in ABNEGATION with her family and it is now time for her to chose her rightful place in her city.
